*Visceral Manipulation is a manual therapy in which light, specifically placed pressure encourages normal mobility, tone and tissue motion of the internal organs and their connective tissue. The gentle manipulations have the potential to affect the physiological function and structural integrity of the entire body. This technique is very successful in treating bladder and bowel problems as well as GI problems.
*CranioSacral Therapy is used to detect and correct imbalances in the craniosacral system, which maybe the cause of sensory, motor or neurological dysfunctions. The therapy has been successfully used to treat headaches, neck and back pain, TMJ, chronic fatigue, and motor coordination to name a few.
She also attended continuing education workshops in therapeutic yoga by Neal Pearson which is beneficial in conjunction with her other skills.
Her new venture in 2016, she served as Pelvic Physical Therapist Specialist to the Rehab team in Beijing, China per invitation by the Chinese Olympics Committee providing lectures in pelvic floor physical therapy and treatment.

Tom Burns CPT, SGX, Pn1
Tom Burns obtained his Certified Personal Trainer certification in 2014 through the American College of Sports Medicine. In early 2015, he completed the Spartan SGX Certified Coach certification, and then in the summer of 2017, Tom became a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach.
Tom grew up in the outdoors, playing multiple youth sports. Tom received a Business degree in 2001, and a Financial Counseling and Planning degree in 2003. After college and into his 30s, he became “busy” with his work in the investment brokerage and advising industry. In about 2013, Tom recognize that corporate work had gotten in the way of his health, and ultimately decided to regain control of his health. This led Tom back into his quest for health and fitness.
In early 2015, Tom left his role in the financial industry, and continued his own fitness journey, while also starting to train others. When his wife, Eileen Burns, decided to join the FYZICAL franchise in later 2015, Tom supported Eileen with establishing the necessary business practices and programs, as well as the initial hiring and training of staff. All this while also growing the fitness programs.
In early 2017, once processes were in place, and the initial staff was hired and trained, Tom returned to the brokerage industry. Although not in the clinic and gym setting during the day, he continues to support many of the business management aspects from behind the scenes. The one fitness program Tom did not want to stop was the Indy Spartan SGX program. This program runs from early in the year (February or March) and runs into the Fall (September or October), each year.
Tom has also assisted with leading multiple nutrition-based seminars, on-site. While not able to make direct and specific meal plan recommendations (due to not being a licensed Nutritionist or Dietician), these events have received very valuable reviews from the attendees, in helping them understand many of the concepts around nutrition.
